Gemini Water was selected to design, fabricate, integrate, and commission a partial second pass upgrade to an existing treatment plant.
The new system was engineered to process 60% of the product water generated by the first pass, improving overall water quality and system performance. The upgrade included four pressure vessels configured in a 2:1:1 array, along with the installation of a dedicated second pass feed pump equipped with a variable frequency drive (VFD) for optimized control and efficiency.
To support the integration of the new equipment, Gemini Water also enhanced the existing control system, expanding the plant’s programming to seamlessly incorporate the second pass operation.
